The present book cytogenetics (Cell Biology and Genetics) has been prepared according to the present Unified Syllabus of all Indian Universities Colleges. Authors have tried to cover the entire syllabus of Cytology (Structure of Cell) in detail and in simple language so that all the categories of the students can understand the matter and can reproduce in their own language in the examination. Similarly in the genetics part, which is slightly difficult has also been written in a simple understandable language. Authors hope that the students will like and able to understand the subject matter. Genetics part deals the Chromosomes the hereditary vehicles composed of DNA and RNA (Genetic material), Cell divisions (Mitosis that occurs in somatic cells) and meiosis occurs in reproductive cells), Genes found in chromosomes and are vehicles of phenotypic characters etc. of the animals and plants.
