Uniform syllabus for U.P. State Universities has introduced 'Thermal Physics and Semiconductor Devices' as a full paper in its syllabus for B. Sc. I year, II semester. The present work is an effort to meet the requirements of this course. It is basically the modified, revised and rewritten edition of author's existing popular book on Thermal Physics And electronics. Thus it covers completely the syllabi of almost all Indian universities. Although this has increased the volume of the book, yet has made it unique for B. Sc. classes.
