This book in the present form is the thoroughly revised version of our earlier book published in 1990 as the elementary version of well-known book of Mathematical Physics by Prof. B.S. Rajput to serve better purpose for the revised and modernized courses based on CBCS Pattern, being taught at degree, honours, postgraduate and engineering levels in all IITs, and different Universities of India. The immense popularity of this original book during last fifty years among the teachers, researchers and students of the postgraduate and engineering courses of all IIT's and all Indian and various. Foreign universities has encouraged us to bring out its elementary thoroughly revised version in the present form on CBCS Pattern to meet the requirement of new syllabi of three years degree, honours, postgraduate and engineering courses in all Indian Universities in general. In the present form this book starts with the chapter on calculus of functions of one or more than one variable, includes other chapter on solution of Differential Equations of first and second order also including Frobenius Method; Vector Calculus; Special Integrals; Complex Variables; Special Functions and useful polynomials; Fourier Series and Integrals; Solutions of Partial Differential Equations also including vibrations of strings and membranes; Integral Transforms; Dirac-Delta Function; and ends up with Theory of Errors.
