The National Education Policy (NEP)- 2020 envisions an education system in India that is holistic, flexible, multidisciplinary, and aligned to the needs of the 21 st century and 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As it is well accepted fact that India is the cradle of human civilization since time immemorial, so NEP-2020 also reiterates to impart its students quality scientific and technical knowledge alongwith ingraining them with high moral and cultural values in the process of developing them as global citizens. Keeping in mind the spirit of NEP-2020, higher education system is being transformed not only on administrative and funding fronts but also by way of restructuring and modifying the syllabi. Such changes in syllabi have created the urgent need for the development of text books which have been repared in-line with the objectives of NEP-2020. Physics in general, and Electronics in particular, is no exception to this notion.
