This edition of the book has been fully revised and enlarged to suit the present requirements of Post-graduate students in Physics. Topics on the Resonance Absorption of gamma rays (Mossbauer Effect) have been enlarged to include various aspects of the application of this modern technique. Detailed calculations of Breit Wigner resonance formula, Weak interactions, Meson theory of nuclear forces and experiments related with Helicity of Neutrino have been added to make the subject matter more comprehensive and useful to the students. Various experimental techniques to measure nuclear masses, energy of charged particles and gamma rays and neutron life time etc. have been included in this edition. Subject matter has been reviewed and refined and printing errors have been removed to a great extent.
