"Basic Electrical and Electronic Circuits" is basically Semester IV, Paper II students of Sri Dev Suman University. The book has been divided into five chapters. meant for B.Sc. Chapter 1 deals with electrical circuits elements like resistors, inductors capacitors etc, currents, Kirchoff's laws and measuring instruments including transformers, generators and multimeters. Chapter 2 discusses primarily network parameters and network theorems Chapter 3 throws light on semiconductor physics and goes through intrinsic and extrinsic semiconductors (P and N type) and their Fermi levels. Chapter 4 gives various semiconductor diodes (P-N junction, zener, tunnel, varactor, point contact, photodiode and LED) and their applications. Chapter 5 deals with rectifiers, filters and power supplies
