Physical Chemistry gives us the theoretical basis for all of chemistry and many subjects related to It. The present book has been written according to the latest syllabus prescribed by University Grants Commission, New Delhi. The book contains a considerable number of worked-out examples. Most of these are quite easy, involving little more than substitution of numerical data into equations. As far as possible, attempt has been made to segregate the topics that call for different conceptual frameworks into separate chapters, as per the guidelines of U.G.C. syllabus. The book has been divided into five sections and each section is further sub-divided into several chapters, so that the reader should understand the topics easily.
