The authors feel immense pleasure to present the first edition of the present book entitled “Instrumental Methods in Spectroscopic and Separation Techniques”. The book is designed according to the latest and thoroughly revised syllabus of H.N.B. Garhwal (A Central) University, Srinagar Uttarakhand, for the students of B. Sc. VI semester. The purpose of the work has been to provide basic information on methods of chemical analysis and new instrumentation techniques that have been developed and improved in recent years. It incorporates basic principles, describes commonly used instruments and discusses the main application for most of the analytical techniques.
