The present book of B.Sc. Ist Year, IInd Semester is specially designed according to the common minimum syllabus for all U.P. State Universities and Colleges designed by the Department of higher, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow for the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020. The book is designed to lay a strong foundation of chemistry. There are eight units in this text book covering various aspects of Inorganic, Organic, Computer System and Mathematical concepts. At the end of each unit different types of questions such as long answer type, short answer type, objective type, fill in the blanks and true or false type have been given with their solutions. The subject matter has been presented in a comprehensive lucid and systematic manner which is easy to understand even by self study.
