First released in June, 1980, i.e. more than four decades ago, my this book on Gymnosperms is now entering into its New edition in 2025, and this is really a matter of great pleasure and satisfaction for me. Its 1st 1980-edition had only 150 pages of small-sized paper but its present edition, printed on a double-sized paper has approximately 360 pages. Its standing for more than 40 years in the Indian market itself speaks that the book has been received well by both students as well as teachers of the colleges/and universities of India and some neighbouring countries. I am grateful to all the end-users of this book and really indebted to all of them.
