While writing these lines, ! am surrounded and overwhelmed by memories. My association with the co-author of the book, late Shri U. S. Misra goes back to the early 1970s. In our very first encounter we became friends and our close friendship continued till his death He was almost one and a half decade senior to me by age yet the senior of age never interfered in our friendship. Together we planned to write several books on themes of common interests. Unifying Anthropology, Vol. 1 was the first book in the proposed series of books. It was first published in 1996 after which Misraji left the world suddenly.
