As part of the announcements made on Independence Day 2021, Uttarakhand government finally laid out the road map to give out free tablets to students of class 10th and 12th across the state. The government though laid out an eligibility criteria for the students who can apply for free tab.

criteria have to register themselves online and submit the required documents.
The name of the scheme is “Uttarakhand Free Tablet Scheme” and focuses on empowering the youth by bringing
them a step closer to technology.
